return of the Schnitzel-Büffet

Hot off the presses — the Fürstliches Brauhaus here in town is doing their famed AYCE Schnitzel-Büffet on Monday, March 10th. We’ll be there. Details on their website.

Incidentally, this is also the place Christina has chosen for the next Regensburg-area local expatriate meet up at the end of the month.

If you’re planning on going to the one on March 30th and have never been there before, try the Schnitzel-Büffet first for all you can eat yumminess. Oh, and another thing. They serve Thurn & Taxis beer — that’s kind of their deal. Normally, I don’t see T& as a a good thing (because it’s usually brewed by Paulaner, which is nothing special). But the Thurn & Taxis at the Fürstliches Brauhaus is brewed there, not by Paulaner, and it’s much better. Prost!

    Will those be the size of dinner plates, too. Every once in a while, Max and I get a craving for cold schnitzel sandwiches. We had so much fun eating those and running around Vienna!

    Mmm, Schnitzel Cordon-Bleu, Garlic Schnitzel, Schnitzel Parisienne, and The Classic™. Carolyn is referring to this.

    They’re theoretically even cheaper than at Schnitzelwirt Schmidt — depending on how much you eat.

    These are normal size, which is good, so that you can try out all the different varieties, and have room for the salads, sides, and desserts.

    I’ll be in München on the 10th, but I definitely want to tag along next time you go!

What's your take on it?
