I can’t stop eating cheese lately. I have no good explanation for this, other than that it is delicous.
Off the top of my head, over the last three days or so:
- Harry and David’s Jalepeño dip with crummy — but edible — tortilla chips
- spreadable Boursin
- some little round Picandous
- Christina’s Birthday Cheesecake (with blueberries!)
- Bavaria Blu (great on crackers)
…and there’s some more Chavroux in the fridge waiting for me.
I think I need to go to France again.
Comfort food for being on a forced vacation??? Sympathetic high fat eating because of my pregnancy? – which would be sweat of you.
That reminded me that we never told you how much we enjoyed the sausage and saurkraut in the little cans. The potato soup was very nice too. We were amazed at how many sausages were packed in the can: 12 I think, and we made two good suppers out of it.
We had a lovely Roquefort at Costco’s Saturday. They had very generous samples and they had grape samples across the aisle; what a fabulous combination! I only needed a Carr’s water cracker to go with it.
I’m going to have to plan a trip to France soon after retirement. Maybe I can research a cheese and bike tour.
Love,
Mom
You could also visit Sarik. They have a great cheese variety.
