Kallmünz & Berching — dynamic weather

We rented a car and took some visiting colleagues up to Kallmünz for an afternoon. We were suprised to find an old car show there waiting for us. After lunch at Zum Bürstenbinder — a great Fingernudel restaurant — we continued on to Berching, but observed a neat rainstorm moving in over the landscape. These four photos are my favorites; see the slideshow below for more.

Don’t know these town names? Here’s our route, theoretically — the autoshow provided some detours and we opted for the freeway on the way back.

HEY! I didn’t know that you liked old cars!
Too bad, there was an “Oldtimer” car show in Berlin while you were here.
The trip looks fantastic. You got to see lots of nice places.

One of these days you will HAVE to teach me how to do the Google Map IN the blog entry.

I’m not really into old cars — I don’t dislike them, but I don’t seek them out, either. There just happened to be a show going on at the town we picked for an uphill hike and castle ruins viewing.

The Google Map thing is pretty easy. Get your Google Map on, and then click the “link” button near the top right when it looks the way you want it to. There’s an option there to customize the size and zoom for embedded display in a webpage.

What's your take on it?
